Course Objectives
This course has been specifically designed to cover aspects of trade finance options and will be valuable to officers in Trade Services, Foreign Exchange Services, the Treasury and Credit Departments.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants should be able to build their understanding of:
1. The risks of trading internationally and some of the unique uncertainties facing their importing and exporting customers and hence, be able to provide expertise/advisory counselling services.
2. The instruments available to facilitate international trade and associated trade rules and terms.
3. Identifying funding gaps.
4. Trade finance solutions.
5. Financial crime and compliance as related to Trade Finance.
